I’m a Christian Solicitor

Instruct Me; Do Good.

When you instruct me, you help do good in the world. Here’s the charities I support regularly.

I’m a Christian Solicitor, a follower of Jesus and I try to live my life on biblical principles (recognising that I often fall short!). But one of the things I really try to do is bless others. So when you instruct me, you’re doing good, as I try to give 10% of my profits to charities. Here’s why:

What are some bible verses on giving?

  • Matthew 10:8b Freely you have received; freely give.
  • Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
  • Proverbs 25:21 If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.
  • Luke 3:11 John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.”
  • Hebrews 13:15-16: Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name. And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.
  • Matthew 25:35-40 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you? The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

What are some bible verses about generosity?

  • Proverbs 11:25A generous person will prosper, whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
  • 2 Corinthians 9:6 Remember this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
  • Deuteronomy 15:10 Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.
  • Psalm 37:21 The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously.
  • 1 Chronicles 29:14 But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.
  • 2 Corinthians 9:11 You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
  • Luke 21:1-4 As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury.  He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”
