I no longer take statutory declarations. A local solicitor or commissioner for oaths can do it for a few pounds, so here's where to go instead of me.
I’m no longer offering statutory declarations, given the administrative and regulatory burden involved. I’d realistically have to charge £550 plus VAT to make one worthwhile, and bearing in mind you can usually get it done for about £5 at a local solicitor’s office, I just can’t suggest it, so I’ve stopped doing them. Sorry.
Any solicitor or commissioner for oaths can take a statutory declaration. Ring a high street firm near you and ask if someone can see you for a few minutes, and take the unsigned document and photo ID with you, as you sign it in front of them.
I do still give independent legal advice on personal guarantees, by video call. For anything else, do get in touch.
